How to Attend
For Contestants:
If and when you are selected to participate in the Quarter-finals, we will notify you of:
1) your acceptance into the Quarter-finals, and
2) which location you will be assigned to.
If you are within driving distance of one of the Quarter-final sites, you will present in-person at that site. If you are a long-distance contestant, we will advise you of which site you will work through. Our facilities will have conferencing and projection capabilities to support contestants from around the world.
For Attendees:
Our Quarter-finals are held regionally, across the US and Canada.
For GAMIC 2016-2017, on-site locations are as follows:
Regional Quarter-finals:
Late afternoon social hour with networking; keynote speaker; company presentations; announcement of on-site winners

October 25 – Michigan at Sterling Heights, MI – 4:00 pm to 8:30 p.m.

November 3 – Ontario @ Waterloo, Ontario, Canada – 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

November 16 – Silicon Valley @ San Jose, CA – 5:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m.
Semi-Finals and Finals are both held in Detroit, Michigan.

National Semi-finals:
All-day event with company presentations in the morning and afternoon; keynote speakers; discussion panel; networking; announcement of all Finalists; social hour

National Finals:
Afternoon key-note with up to 12 Finalist Innovators presenting to senior automotive and
mobility executives, with reception following in the main Exhibit Hall

April 4 – Michigan at SAE World Congress at Cobo Hall, Detroit, MI – Afternoon presentations, early evening reception
